Some people would not want to move an inch towards the dreams they once had because of their countless falls and their obvious weaknesses.
The inner and external questions of the uncertainty of their competence and value have raided their mindsets that impossibility has been crowned the master of their lives. The consistencies of setbacks, failures and limitations have defined the totality of their lives!
Let’s relearn these again!
1. You are not what your circumstances or people define you. One time when depression ate me sour, it didn’t take time before I began to be highly forgetful. It nearly claimed my essence and people gave me a speech tag of “you are so forgetful”. That was an obvious fact but it wasn’t the truth for me. I realised where my life was heading to because of this negative trait caused by depression so I decided to take the bull by the horn. So when I forgot to do something again and I was told that statement, I spoke to my self with all authority that “I am not forgetful”. I denounced every negative pronouncements against me. I didn’t allow my present circumstance create a future that is not real for me. So the moment I began to consciously denounce negative words against me the more I deliberately sorted ways to remember things, for instance, I tried so much to have a to do list where I recorded everything that my boss told me and made sure I did what I wrote. It wasn’t easy but I was determined not to be a forgetful lady! So what’s that circumstance making you create a negative view of your life or what are people saying to you that’s not helping your self esteem? Don’t accept it. Speak positive affirmative words to yourself and look for actionable things to help you out of that situation
2. Have your end in mind: You know how you envision or imagine yourself in great places, doing great stuff wherever you are, or people coming to you for godly counsel or you making an invention that will change the course of history or probably you attaining some professional heights that will change the lives of youths forever and then someone snaps the finger and you see that you are in your room in a small town on the floor with your plate of unfinished tasteless rice starting at you and you begin to wonder if ever what you see will come into manifestation. Well keep this “end” in mind still! The processes to breakthrough can be a really crazy one and there is always the doubt that arises when you try for a moment to think greatly of yourself. However can you relearn this again that at the end of the tunnel there is always light? Your friends may ditch you and no body might believe in your dreams but your “beautiful end” is as real as the ground you are standing on. Sometimes my weaknesses get so glaring that I tell myself to stop dreaming! Did you even know that sometimes I ask myself that what gives me the audacity to want to be great and speak to people about the word of God? What do I know that I would want to encourage people like myself to keep dreaming and working towards their dreams? So what I do is I silence the thoughts, speak positive affirmative words to myself, read the word of God and wait patiently for God to tell me what to do. ( Subsequently by God’s grace, I will share how to get instructions from God while waiting for the manifestation of our dreams)This brings me to the next point!
3. Let God be involved in every area of your life especially in areas where you struggle the most: I have come to realise that my greatest help is God because He is the one that formed me. So I cry on Him and tell Him all that I go through. I ask Him sometimes that “Lord why would you give me such deep passion to want to live a purposeful life according to your will and yet I face countless weaknesses that disqualifies me?” In my anguish and sorrow, He tells me that He is at work in me. He says to me that His grace is sufficient for me and His power is made perfect in my weaknesses. Now trust me when He says these words and I see where I am currently, I’m like God you have a great sense of humour but then I have learnt, and is still learning to trust in Him majorly because He is the one who created me and knows how to help me glow in His purpose for me.

So if you are a christian and you wonder why you can’t be what God has laid in your heart because of your weaknesses or circumstances, know that nothing can stop you if you will keep speaking positive affirmative words and totally trusting in God to help you, for instance,

👉🏽I am excellent and unique
👉🏽I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I am a city set upon the hill that cannot be hidden
👉🏽Generational curses of death, failure, poverty, late marriage, barrenness, fruitlessness will not manifest in my life in Jesus name…
Just keep speaking this words and back them up with what God says about you.
